Engr. Rasheed Adekunle Hassan _{MBA, PMP, F.ASCE, M.NSE, F.NICE, M.NIStructE, M.NIM}, The President of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Nigeria International Section and the CEO of RSM Services Limited has been conferred with the prestigious African Leader of Integrity Merit Award for Excellence Leadership in Engineering Profession in Africa by the African Integrity Magazine.

The International Award Conferment happened in Accra, Ghana during the Agency's 18th African Leadership Development Conference Awards Conferment held on the 11th of February 2023 themed "Africa's Population Explosion: A threat to Continental Food Security & Sustainable Development."

Speaking on the award, the President of African Integrity Magazine, Ambassador Onwordi Onichabor, revealed that, the international recognition of integrity is bestowed on citizens of all nations who have proven themselves as an embodiment of integrity, honesty, transparency and accountability.

The Chairman of the Award Organizing Committee, Prof. Thomas Eshett stated that his selection for this noble Award is coming at a time when many as a result of inordinate ambitions have lost their dignity and integrity. He further noted that Engr. Rasheed's leadership style and position has never been abused or questioned in any form, as a result of his strong belief and commitment to the ideals and principle of Integrity, Accountability and Transparency in Leadership.

Past Awardees of the African Leadership Award includes Nelson Mandela, Dr. John Dramani Mahama (Ghana President), Bishop Desmond Tutu, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Pat Utomi, Late Kofi Annan, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN, Human Rights Activist), Late Dr. Alex Ekwueme (former Vice President of Nigeria) and many other respected Africans.
